I got into a fight with a boy and I was transparent and honest. I told him “I don’t feel like anyone listens to me or sees me and when you don’t listen to me I wonder what’s even the point of having you around?” He laughed and said “All anyone does is listen to you and see you. You make yourself known everywhere.”
We were both right. I am great at making myself known in the exact way I want to be known. I craft my social media and casual conversations to make people feel comfortable. I don’t want people to find me to be a burden and I don’t want anyone to see me falter.
Now, I’m trying something new.
